I wrote, produced, and directed this three-minute video as a pro bono project for my church. The only money spent was on Starbucks coffee to keep my editor caffienated. He's an Avid veteran and was looking for a project to teach himself Final Cut Pro, and he did a superb job.
Cameras were borrowed Panasonic DVX-100's (Mini-DV) which are not good cameras for green screen keying, so it's a real testament to how Final Cut Pro can produce a relatively clean key even with Mini-DV format challenges.
I was very pleased with the B-roll background style I devised, which is something I had never seen or tried before. B-roll was shot with a 16:9 anamorphic adaptor lens for a wide screen aspect ratio, to suit the letterboxed background approach.
For a talking heads video, it's watchable. I will definitely be using this style again for corporate videos.
