Sega Rally Championship was the first game I bought for Sega Saturn back in 1995. It is in my opinion the best rally game ever. It's limited in comparison with today's games because there is only four tracks and three cars and there are not many options. What makes the game so good is simply the physics and the control. It's been more than 15 years since it came out and I still play it. You can always be a better player, it never ends!

Time Attack, Lake Side, Celica, Standard, AT

  • You messed up in the last lap. You wasted about a second.

  • @sebastiaanvanwater You're right. Lakeside is not my favorite course, but i have improved all my records except for "Time Attack, Desert, Celica, Standard, AT" (which is close to the impossible). I will upload them soon...

  • 1'07"31 is a very good fastest lap for the lakeside. I think I could get only 1'07"33... :)

I used to play this game for hours, often racing against my only competitor: the secret AM3 "shadow car". Sega Rally had only 4 tracks, yet that made me concentrate more on perfecting each track. I developed such a precise knowledge of exactly when to turn on every curve.

I still remember my 3 laps on the mountain stage when I finished with laps of 1'06"54 and then 1'06"50.

    I felt incredible...

  • You forgot to mention awesome music.

  • Can't believe you actually managed to even stay on the track with automatic transmission (I find it 100x easier with manual transmission).

The main problem with it is that it takes too much braking to downshift. The ideal scenario is more or less like in 0:43. But take a look at 0:55...weird, isn't it?

    Anyway, congratz! =)

  • like the pro's say: It's not as easy as it looks, THUMBS UP

  • such a difficult course but so much fun as well, and great control exhibited here as well. kudos to ya man.
