Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix (Netbook-Launcher) Touchscreen Bug by EeePC-Info.de

http://www.eeepc-info.de | Wer Ubuntus Netbook Remix mit einem Touchscreen nutzen will, kann zwar in der "Sidebar" links und auch in den "Favoriten" und "Dateien und Ordner" alles gut auswählen/ starten. Wenn man aber ein Programm aus der Normalen-Menüstruktur wie "Büro", "Grafik", "Internet", starten will, geht es nicht.

Durch den Touchscreen wird kein eindeutiger Klick ausgelöst, zumindest für die Netbook-Launcher GUI. Man hat immer das Gefühl das er das eigentlich zu startende Programm per Drag&Drop in die Favoriten schieben will. Das ist auch eine gewollte Funktion, funktioniert auch mit einer Maus ganz gut aber leider nicht mit dem Touchscreen.

Who wants to use Ubuntus Netbook Remix with a Touchscreen, can in " Sidebar" on the left of and also in " Favoriten" and " Files and Folders" everything well select start. If one however a program from the normal menu structure like " Internet" , to start, goes it wants not. Released by the Touchscreen no more clearly click, at least for the Netbook Launcher GUI. One has always the feeling which it that program actually which can be started by Drag& Drop into the favorites to push wants. That is also an intended function, functioned also with a mouse completely well however unfortunately not with the Touchscreen. @MrWeimeisterElektro retard, you can add a touchscreen on everykind of eeepc, it's common use since 701.

I confirm bug. I have installed a t.s. mod on an Asus 901 , w. 9.10 NBR and all is working perfectly, except for this. The bug is annoying, but luckily there is a partial workaround, if I keep the icon pressed for long enough, the right click is emulation starts, menu is not displayed, but the first item (always "Open..") is automatically selected, launching the programs after 1 and half second or so (time before right click emulation is configurable in the touch screen preferences).

this isn't fake you idiot, he added a touchscreen digitizer. People are doing this to netbooks all the time, look at youtube/google etc and educate yourself.
