Cliffe Bonfire Society form up at the Lewes War Memorial to march down School Hill on the way to their prayers at Cliffe corner.
This is THE procession to watch of the entire night.
Flares, fire, smoke and an unending barrage of explosions make this the loudest smoke-choked 'river of fire' on the 5th.
We wunt be druv! :)

....and where were the HSE while these shenanigans were taking place, eh? Scandalous behaviour. My cat had a litter of six kittens during this cacophonous din.....and he's a tom ffs!!!
Surprised you managed to capture ANY of that through that smoke mate....Good Job :)
