Exbury Gardens - Hampshire Guitar Orchestra (HAGO)

Exbury Gardens, near the Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest, in southern Hampshire, is a spectacular 200-acre garden which is particularly impressive in May, when these photos were taken.

Exbury is a fantastic day out, with many varied and secluded walks, views over the Beaulieu River on the one side, and a sizeable steam railway trip on the other.

The soundtrack is "Song from a Secret Garden", arranged by Derek Hasted and played, live in concert, by Hampshire Guitar Orchestra (HAGO).

Excuse the coughing and the car driving off - this was recorded at a concert in West Sussex in April 2009! No edits, no retakes - pure HAGO...

This arrangement by Musical Director, Derek Hasted features all four sizes of Classical Guitar that HAGO uses, from the tiny alto to the massive contra.
