@4freespeech i do not believe the chinese are a threat, they need to be a part of the world, they rely on it so much. when china expands its armed forces its made out to be a bad thing, when every nation has a right to, but when say america or indeed australia do it theres nothing wrong with that. sounds like double standards to me. and remember the chinese have never waged a war of aggression in "their" history, how many have the USA done since '45, and Australia supported most.

At the time, US leaders considered the Battle of Coral Sea (BCS) to be at best a tie, maybe a tactical defeat since our ship losses were greater. But in truth it was a strategic victory, because the US was able to thwart Japan's military goal of capturing Port Moresby. Luckily, the Yorktown survived to provide a contingent of the Dive Bombers that sunk the Japanese carriers at Midway, and the Japanese lost more planes and pilots at BCS.
Its the CHINESE we have to beware of now, we AND Japan.
