@Flarare I'm assuming you're right then. : P Cripping was around he same time as bboying, but it didn't use the knee drop. Clowning does, but it came some 20 years later.. I'll just go with it's a bboying thing. (:

Bboy emerged around the 1970's, similarly, the Crip Gang developed Cwalking around the 1970's. Bboy was considered to be one of the four original elements of Hip Hop (Rap, DJ, Graffiti and Hip Hop dancing). Bboy is a whole-body dance, therefore it has many moves, whereas, Cwalk is a foot dance.
Personally, I think this is more likely to be a Bboy move, but I could be wrong. New forms of Hip Hop dancing like Jerkin', which claim that the knee drop/ pin drop is their move are WRONG!
