  • I have a samsung DLP HL-R4266W the standby/temp light is on and the tv will not turn on. I guess it is standby mode, how do I get my tv on?

  • @themralegaspi This sounds like it'll need to be serviced. You can call 1-800-SAMSUNG to set that up.

  • @SamsungService my mistake I just had to push the power button

  • @themralegaspi Glad it worked out, let us know if you have any questions in the future!

  • My DLP just went bad today ..It displayed a message for me to check the fan , then turned completely off is this an issue with me needing to replace my bulb or fan issue .. Thanks

  • @wetod just replaced the bulb in my TV. All three indicator lights were on before I replaced it. Now the TV works just fine.

  • @1omnihypernet without resetting the lamp hours the set may (on some models) turn off the lamp for safety if it thinks that the lamp is past its time.

  • You forgot to say to check for dust and to clean out the dust if any, also you forgot to tell us how to reset the lamp hours counter (google service menu for your set) , also the lamp may still be good if the fans are not good or a heat sensor which will also cause the lamp not to fire..... please put these notes in the instructions.

  • Just found a HLR4266W today for free because the guy didn't know what to do to fix it. All three indicators on the front of the tv are flashing and from what it looks like it's the bulb that's not working. Can you confirm this? I have a feeling I could replace it rather simply because of this guide.

  • @deputydoig1 thanks john yea i wasnt sure everyone saying these tvs are a waste i know my friend had one an it was a tottal piece of shit i got this for free so i have no say lol 4 yrs thats awsome
