cordy lon "shoes"

cordy lon, a band from athens ga 1986-1991 consisting of david levitt (guitar, vocals,bass, organ), robbie zimmermann (drums, vocals), beth hale (cello). played mainly at the downstairs cafe, the 40 watt, grit, rockfish palace, uptown lounge, georgia theatre, the point and venues around athens and atlanta.

most often played with vic chesnutt, jody grind, labrea stompers, time toy, vigilantes of love, long low rumble, and opal fox quartet. the song "shoes" here is rare it is not on thei only cassette release entitled "misanthropic".

this footage is from a live performance at georgia theatre circa 89 and edited for the "athens music show"
