Not too many musicians I enjoy just sitting and reading the lyrics in a quiet space. Go, Richard, Go!

I have seen many concerts.... the best was the outdoor show withr Richard Thompson inviting opener Shawn Colvin to help out on his set... that was something very special.

I saw him on this tour, he played a small room that seated about 400 people, so he played two shows in the same night. After the first show, I was walking past the very low stage, and saw a set list taped to a post that showed a very different set list for the second show -- so I stayed for the second show as well.
One of the greatest concert-going experiences of my "career."
