Liam Neeson Confirms he WAS on set for The Dark Knight Rises
.
Hey movie buffs, Joshua Evan Ovenshire here for Clevver Movies. As we've established in the past, if we're doing a Batman Story, there may be some spoilers ahead. You've been warned. Ahem. We know Liam Neeson is a bad ass and we all love him, and today, we geek out. Liam Neeson, who played Rhas Al Ghul in Batman Begins, and yes, it's RHAS, not Raz. Trust me. I would know. Any way, he said that he did spend some time on the Dark Knight Rises set. Yep, you heard correctly, Rhas AL Ghul just might be in the Dark Knight Rises
.
Now for those of you popping in the dvd to prove me wrong and saying "NO! He died at the end of the movie!" Yes, he died, but he's Rhas Al Ghul. He comes back to life using his lazarus pits. It's complicated, just google it.
.
Neeson says he was on set for maybe an hour and a half, and Christopher Nolan didn't tell him what was going on or clued him in. Now, until I hear the words, "Yes. I was on set and I FILMED a scene" I'll stay wary. But I know, I'd love to have him make a cameo in the movie. But will it be a scene, or a maybe a flash back with Talia. Who knows. But if you recall, they did use Neeson's dialogue from Batman Begins in the teaser trailer for Rises. This could have been all apart of the plan from the beginning.
.
But what do you guys think? Do you think Rhas Al Ghul will make a cameo in this years MOST ANITICIPATED movie? Let us know in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe to stay up to date on all the biggest movie news. Till the next time I'm The Jovenshire and you're watching Clevver Movies!

  • It's in fact Ra's (As pronounced in Nolan's movie) not Raish. Trust me, I speak the language from what is has been taken from. Also, the R has to be rolled (Exactly how Neeson has pronounced it at the beginning of the movie).

  • He was Darkman after all. <3

  • "ras" is closer to real pronunciation than "raish" because his name is actually arabic ra's al-ghroul meaning head of the deamon, in arabic ra's or head is pronounced with a heavy a, then skip, then s sound, not like raish. And yes I know that the cartoon and movies often pronounce is raish too. Just my 2 cents.

  • People .. that is NOT Batman's cave being raided ... It is Bane's prison where the rich are being kept ..

  • In the trailer Bruce had a cane walking so there's a hint bane may break his back so in pain unable to save Gotham he in the trailer dives in the Lazarus pit

  • In the trailer I think it was Bruce but he dived in the Lazarus pit

  • Oh and about the batcave, I do not see any reason other than the hole to suggest they did have people down there, and he could even be dreaming it while being held by The Leauge of Shadows. Last time Bruce Wayne did have flashbacks while being in jail. Its prolly them if anything raiding the cave. Not Gotham police .He used a side way to get in the cave. Im pretty Everything goes down at Bruce Waynes police fundraiser at his house. The Batcave should be Massive and with no real flat walls.

  • I think it would make sense if Liam Neeson was used even for something related to CGI. Like Arnold was used to make something on the set of Terminator Salvation. Maybe Rising from the pit and the story he told Bruce Wayne about his Wife and his Daughter. Thats a long shot though. The film to me is about closure and setting up Batman future Chess pieces in gotham. Noland likes to make the movie open with things outside batmans control already happening. Flash Backs and levels of plots to a person

  • Ok so heres my opinion. Ok so Batman is my passion. I believe Lazarus Pit is the meaning behind "RISE". They also mention fire. I think this is part of that. He said he will destroy Gotham. I think a younger him will be in the film. Also Bruce wayne was walking with a crutch. I believe he is beaten then taken back to leauge of shadows. His body or parts broken revived. In the trailer I believe its of a swat team sent to rescue him. Thats also what Alfred in trailer was mentioning. AndA Scientist

  • @copznrobbas Because even conroy says it correctly, watch the old animated series, and play some of the Arkham series batman video games, Conroy is the voice of batman in the games, and he pronounces it like the guy in this video.

  • they shot scenes in India, where there was a green screen on the ground the shape of a pool near an ancient temple. Lazarus Pit??
