Anyone and everyone that has ever been in Jidoor's auction house knows the routine. This clip gives a demonstration of the the new auction system in action. It's a real auction system now, not just a pre-determined set of values and prices.

A multitude of items are available, and no prices are set in stone. Everything happens on the fly, so make sure you bring plenty of gil with you!

Does the end-price change dramatically if you just always bid +500GP?

The old Auction house burned hours out of my childhood pre-emulator days. Trying to get the Magicite in the WoR was ridiculous.

Well, depending on how many bidding rounds there are, and what your opponents bid, it very well may. Best to stockpile on some gil, those Jidoor guys are a bit pricey.

Yes, the instruments, volumes and octaves were tweaked a bit to make it sound like that . I know because I did it! This is one of my best works I think. Sounds less hollow and boring than the original me thinks. :)
