Raja Gosnell, director of The Smurfs movie, tells LA Teen Festival about how tricky it was to shoot the Smurfs in their scenes. You can read the entire interview at http://www.lateenfestival.com in issue #14.
This guy really seems like a douchebag. It's easy to tell be became a director strictly for the money. I've seen his live-action Scooby-Doo movie, and he has absolutely no artistic merit. All you kiddies who think The Smurfs movie was great have no idea what a great family movie is. See the movies from Pixar for example, they're great movies that kids and adults can enjoy. Oh, and if you want good media with the Smurfs, watch the Hanna-Barbera cartoon or read the comics from Peyo.
