Warne Marsh - tenor sax, Lee Konitz, alto sax, Billy Taylor, piano, Mundell Lowe - guitar, Ed Safranski, bass, Ed Thigpen, drums. Appearing on the 1958 TV show "The Subject is Jazz".
@ pindaric unfortunately, too many people refused to see the value of a brand if Jazz that stressed counterpoint and a softer timbre. Don't worry, though. It'll come back.
Incredible! Warne is so fantastic!

It doesn't seem like anybody really continued this style. Even Konitz doesn't play like this these days. Too bad.
