We really can't get enough of Bruce Lamont, and this video may as well be exhibit "A" as to why. As the sax player in Yakuza -- an experimental metal-jazz group out of Chicago -- Bruce employs a live effects rig that might baffle or even intimidate a lesser FOH mixer. That's why he employs a Mackie DFX-8 and a DI to help make a sound guy's life a little easier. See? Being thoughtful and rocking hard are not mutually exclusive! See more on Gearwire.com.

  • Cool! Vocal 300 is great! Listen to my video "tsaxproject only saxophone" realized with a custom tenor sax, a digitech vocal 300 and some percussions. Please write a comment it if you want. Thanx

  • Cool vid, don't understand the description though. If I was FOH for these guys, this dude would be my hero. Less work for me.

  • Now thats cool.

I want to know how to set my kid up with the basics to get started with the echos and mixers. He is already very good on the sax. He does'nt have anything but a sax right now. Any advise on a good starter set up.

  • gotta love the sax though all thoose fx pedals.
