I don't know about Mics, but i use Magix the only problem i have with it is that i can't really customize alot of the drums, so i end up using very stock sounding drum stuff, and i've heard great things about Ableton seeing as how Daft punk, and deadmau5 use it i downloaded the torrent but can't get the thing to work. It's har 2 use
Also heard great things from Cubase, EZ drummer, FL studio, Reason.
But i like Magix because its super easy to use and i can make videos and Mp3s straight out.

Very cool. Reminds me of Ewan Dobson's Time 2 video.

@AcousticLabs Thanks! I'm actually going to have to look that up.

@AcousticLabs Very Cool. Thanks for sharing that. You might have already heard them but Paul Gilbert does a song called The echo song and Buckethead has one called Big Sur Moon using the same technique. Someone needs to coin a term for this if there already isn't one. Btw...Glad to see your videos are finally getting the views that they deserve!

@Jamsessionroom1337 Only way to go! Not sound like a tube amp?

@DillonBerkley Get a mic and record it right next to it.
Learn how to use some recording programs, trust me. It's better if you yourself at least know what to do with them.
The problem isn't that it sounded bad, but it sounded bland, like it didn't have any attack.
Good luck man.

@Jamsessionroom1337 Thats funny you say that cause it was turned up around half way and had plenty of attack where i was standing! Haha. Yeah thats next on my list is to get a good recording mic and a laptop. The camera has good video quality but the audio sounds nothing like what i'm hearing in person. Any recording software you'd recommend?
