GM literally sucks! I bought a Buick from gm. I seriously wish I never had purchased it...its the worst vehicle I had ever driven, within a month something had already gone wrong with it. I seriously believe you should never purchase a car off gm they do some weird ass crap to the car that goes wrong, so you would have to continually go back to gm and figure out what the problem is and pay a shit load of money.....waste of money I would recommend no1 buying the Buick or yet nothing from GM

VEBA (Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association) will transfer retiree health care obligations to the UAW by 2010. This eliminates more than $50 billion from GM's healthcare tab. It will be funded by $30 billion in cash and $1.4 billion in GM stock paid to the UAW over the next four years of the contract. It also eliminates 70% of the labor cost gap with GM's Japanese rivals.

The whole reason the American car industry is going flat on it's ass is becuase they ignored the environmental issues to late. hence American made cars did not sell anywhere else in the world because they did not meet the environmental standards. To little was done to late, and now they are going out of bussiness. No supirise to be honest. I never liked american cars, senseless gass guzzlers and allso very poorly constructed. Especially when compared to German and Japanese cars.

GM, Chrysler and all the crap cars they make can FUCKING GO TO HELL. Ford needs to bring their european cars to the U.S.(Fiesta>Focus). FUCKING PEOPLE NEED TO STOP BUYING GAS CHUGGING SUV'S AND TRUCKS. GM should make cross-country bullet-trains or something. The government has no business spending tax money to save ANY company. PERIOD.

One of the reasons for the insolvency of General Motors was that their workers were paid higher wages, and received much more generous benefits paid for by their employer, than the workers employed at the automobile plants, mainly in the South, owned by Toyota, Honda, and other foreign manufacturers.

GM kept making crap since the 80's. bad cars, big V8 out of a battlecruiser, boring cars, big ugly cars, and are out classed from anything out of europe and japan.
