Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Jamie Gets RE-JEC-TED!

Hahaha, the official "rejection" role reversal! x3 Instead of Jamie being the rejecter, he's now the rejectee. Through this new character Tina, Robyn gets her revenge for having been called "stupid, stupid, stupid!"

This short scene occurs once you've fulfilled all the Jamie requirements, have proposed to him (he doesn't accept the Blue Feather then and there, but instead tells you to meet him at the Goddess Springs if you don't change your mind), and then visit the Springs. Since you can usually go to the Springs anytime after freeing the Goddess for the purpose of replenishing your stamina bar, you are given those two options to confirm why you are here.

The latter option will trigger Jamie's arrival and allow you to marry him, leading to a series of cutscenes that make up the only possible "ending" of the game. The former choice... well, you can see the results here for yourself. It feels bad to make the Goddess and the Sprites so angry... ^^; To disappoint a little cutie like Carlos. But it's an interesting twist on the scene that I never would have expected.

Remember, Jamie has special requirements for marriage. In addition to everyone's Level 3 house, L bed, and 8-10 hearts, you also need to have FIFTY notes (have saved the Goddess), have used the Miracle Potion on each kind of animal (and with all babies born), and have shipped all kinds of crops (only actual CROPS - other stuff on the shipping list doesn't matter). It's pretty tough, but worth it for a great wedding! Do keep in mind that although you can marry Jamie as a boy OR a girl, you cannot continue the game with Jamie as your spouse.

...Yes, we went through all those lousy requirements just to, at the end of it all, be dishonest about her feelings. xD But it's worth it, right?

What?? Sorry, I don't understand the question.

How would this be gay? Males OR females can marry Jamie. Jamie is a boy when the player is a girl, and a girl when the player is a boy.

But I did do this "out of spite," because Jamie once rejected one of my other character's proposals. =P I felt like getting him back. However, right after this scene, I went back to marry him for real. So this "rejection" was just for fun, to see what happens and to capture this for my cutscene collection.

xP Yep. After this scene, you're taken back right outside the Springs (just like after a normal healing), and if you go in again, you'll get the same two options, so you can then propose for real.

@sqeewee1 actually if you play as a boy Jamie is a girl,hence the earrings,and if you play as a girl, Jamie is a boy.

i was really little when I played this game, and I never knew what you had to do gto get married to jamie, whenever I proposed to him he said stupid stupid stupid. Lol, I ended up marrying another guy with jamie still at 10 hrts i was so sadddd
