  • You know you're David Gilmour when you play 3 notes and the crowd goes wild.

  • @JeffBend o shit now i see, i didn't understand. I played the video again, that isn't the same pickguard in the box as on hist guitar. i missed that detail. so they made a custom pickup+guard witch isn't the same as his?.........................HOW THE FUCK IS IT CUSTOM THEN??? holy shit

  • @laiholapso my apologies, i placed my question mark a little too soon and completely led you down the wrong path, what i meant to convey that was i didn't like them. I have no idea how Gilmour feels about tortoise shell pick guards.. although, i'm guessing he's not fussed as he could have one if he liked, i've never seen a picture of him with one, nor do i think one turns up in the black strat book (which is kindda the bible on these things).

again, forgive my mis-placed punctuation mark :)

  • @JeffBend that's interesting, never heard that story why do you think he doesn't like tortoise shell

  • Just got these for my Vintage 57 Reissue, but I put them on my own pickguard. The one it comes with looks aweful. Dont understand why they would put a signature pickup on a pickguard that he doesnt even have. But the DG20 does sound awesome

  • @sgman310 Shine on you crazy diamond (parts I-V)

  • Do they come attached to a plain white pickguard ? like David Gilmour - i cant STAND tortoiseshell ones, they look so crass.

  • @steveshadforth what's so difficult about it? i've got the pickguard coming in the post as we speak. i got that rather than individual pickups because i wanted an easier job installing them. what was the problem with yours?

  • @mouloudo

Good for you. Mine went in a Vintage Black Strat and was a pain to install, sound smint though!

  • @steveshadforth took me about 10 minutes
