PIC18f4620 + VS1001K + SD CARD = MP3 Player!

A (very) simple MP3 player consisting of a PIC18f4620 microcontroller, a VS1001K Hardware MP3 decoder and a normal (micro)SD card.

I don't know if the 16f877(a) is powerful enough to play MP3 files. I used the 18f4620 because it has a lot of RAM and runs at a higher clock speed. The schematics I used can be found here: teuthis (dot) com/html/mp3.html

De PIC is hier niet de D/A. Het enige wat de PIC doet is het inlezen van het bestand via de SPI interface en streamt deze data vervolgens bit voor bit via dezelfde SPI interface naar de VS1001K die het decoderen en versterken van de output voor zijn rekening neemt. Ik raad aan de datasheet van de VS1001K te lezen voor verdere info.

i need to build a musical fountain using vb+mp3+PIC 16f877a to control valve. can your explain and list all the circuits audio etc. i don't know about components such VS1001K and any hardware to play mP3 decorder to control the valves. pls.

Is het mogelijk om enkel het mp3 bestand te decoderen en vervolgens via optische kabel door te sturen naar een D/A van een reciever? Zonder de PIC, want dat is de D/A hier toch?
