The ROCAT open water rowing catamaran in very rough seas off the south coast of Cornwall. This was an early prototype testing the boat's capabilities in rough conditions - it was blowing about force 7. Unfortunately, there were no other sculling boats out that day to compare performance.

  • sirs, for me isn't correct the movment; u have to adapt the boat to current official rowing. ty sirs

  • @assenteismopuglia - sorry, I have just seen this and I don't understand. I only have 'to adapt to current official rowing' if I plan to participate in FISA competitions. There are no boats which comply with FISA rules that could have been out that day - this is a new kind of rowing boat - the mountain bike of rowing.

  • what are the specs on this and where can i learn more?

  • @shh291 - unfortunately, the ROCAT is not in production, but you can find out more at on the ROCAT website - URL above

  • Actually looks quite comfortable.

  • @dale3858 it was ... except for the very cold strong east wind that is!
