Soon to be on EBay. Hydrographic Office Field Chart 2031, surveys of Nakagusuku Wan, Okinawa also named Buckner Bay by American forces in 1945 and printed on board the U.S.S. Bowditch in August 1945. HOFC 2031 authenticates itself as can be seen in this video. Stored in an envelope and placed in a trunk soon after being brought back to the United States sometime after the Japanese surrender to American forces and only recently found within the past few years, this chart is in perfect condition and is without dust mite damage and without any rips. Taken to the Treasure Hunters Road Show one year ago in Lancaster Ohio, it was said by one of the appraisors that it was not known how a price could be put on it as it is more than likely the only one in existence. With many more pages of supporting documention not available on video as of yet but soon will be, this chart is defintly a significant part of American history and a significant part of the Japanes history. Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of the people in Japan and a donation will be made to the Japanese earthquake relief should HOFC 2031 be sold.
