She is my favorite Juliet. She IS Juliet for me. Ferri captured the very words of Shakespeare: a young and sheltered girl falling in love. I have seen some awesome Juliets, but Ferri always wins for me,

I absolutely adore Alessandra Ferri, she's got to be among the most beautiful dancers I've ever seen... She's up there executing every step with a smile on her face like it's the easiest thing in the world, and we watch, trying not to let our jaws drop in amazement.

@tedsler This calls to mind what Makarova said about the paradoxical nature of dancing Juliet. Sometimes you have “to have maturity to express youth”. Makarova herself admitted she did a far better job essaying Juliet’s character as an older ballerina than she ever could have had she been closer to Juliet’s age. Ferri must have discoverered and experienced the same thing.

She's absolutely wonderful! I regret a lot not to have seen her dancing live before she retired... :-(

Poor people at the back stage!
they have to stand still and to not move the whole dance...
The poorest of them all is the kneeling woman!
