Crysis 2 Announced !!! PC-X360-PS3

Electronic Arts announced today that it has agreed to a deal extension with Crytek GmbH, the award-winning developers of the Crysis universe, to publish Crysis 2. Renowned for their technical excellence, artistic craftsmanship and commitment to quality, Crytek is building Crysis 2 on their new state-of-the-art multiplatform game development solution CryENGINE 3 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, and the PC.

The development of Crysis 2 marks a major stepping stone for our studio, said Cevat Yerli, CEO and President of Crytek. This is not only the next game in the Crysis franchise, its the first title we are developing for consoles and the first title being built on CryENGINE 3. We are excited to have the support of EA Partners again as we work together to make the launch of Crysis 2 a huge event.

@PhysicsTowerTeam lol i know that. Wasn't that long ago I was using a pc that had a 2.1 ghz amd 64 athlon x2 4200+. Never had a problem running any game on that, aside from making history 2, which still run fine anyway until later on in the game when it started taking forever to go from one turn to the next when there was shitoads going on.

@ImCmdrShepard1 lol a gaming pc and a ps3 costs the same now in australia. I bought a ps3 a few months ago and it cost me a bit over $500. I recently bought a gaming pc and it cost me $500.

The specs are i5 2600 3.1GHz quad core (can boost to 3.5 whenever needed), 9600gt 1GB video card (may be old, but its actually pretty decent. Runs even shogun total war on max settings smoothly in large battles except res set to 1360x900)

8GB ddr3 ram

sata 3 & usb 3 mobo

500w psu.

@tel0j lol, crysis 1 came out in 07 and the graphics still look better than the console version. consoles suck for everything but price.
