He was apparently the victim of a robbery. (June 17)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker is recovering at a Las Vegas hospital after being found unconscious on Monday morning. Walker was found at the corner of Winnick Avenue and Koval Lane -- which is just off the Vegas strip -- just after seven in the morning by police officers. A police spokesman said in a statement that Walker was taken to the hospital with quote significant injuries. As of early Tuesday morning - the wide receiver was listed in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Walker recently signed a six-year, 55 million dollar contract with the Oakland Raiders ... after he was released by the Denver Broncos in February. While playing for the Broncos -- Walker was witness to one of his teammates' murder. He was in the limo when cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed shortly after midnight on January 1st, 2007. That murder remains unsolved.
