I think fans that has the metal chassis is better for spreading the heat.

Wow i had that very same idea. with the 2 fans in the front and back of CPU. Thats similiar to the zalman heatsink for the PC.

dont cover the heatsinks. the point of a heatsink is to create more area to cool so dont!
