Pictures taken on Wyeth Hill in St. Joseph, Missouri. The bluff looks down on the Missouri River, and over the flat plains of Kansas. My Mother who grew up in the North end of St. Joseph in the 1930's calls it Billy Goat Hill.

  • I wouldn't go to Wyeth Hill after dark... unless you want it in the butt. But, go during the day during any season and it's gorgeous I agree.

  • OMG, Thanks for the heads up. I really don't want that experience.

  • It's a great spot to watch a summer storm rumble in from Kansas.

  • In the last tornado watch they sent one of the paramedics who is a spotter up there to give updates.

I know a fellow who swears that is where he saw the UFO that abducted him. Pretty spooky.

  • this is my home town. st joseph mo,il never forget the view from there think you for the video

  • I agree, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and right here in St. Joseph, Missouri. I appreciate your kind comment. Thank you

  • Gotta to be proud of this old town.. I couldn't leave my sweet hometown..

It so rich in history and folk lores.. The only thing I missed the most, is the busy downtown, trolley tracks, and cobble stone streets..

  • Thank you for the information I will change the parts I can. I looked in the phone book to see how to spell it but couldn't find it there. Thanks so much for your kind comments and the information.

  • A great video! Thank you! However, it is not Wyatt park. it is WYETH hill (or park) because is was donated by Houston Wyeth. I was raised in that neighborhood and I gotta send this to some old friends that have long sence moved away. Thanks again Rick

  • Do you remember going up there during the floods of '93? Just looking out over all the water ... and all the people with the same idea! No where to park and barely anywhere to stand :) That's probably the most popular that park had been in years!
