Wow... what make of steel guitar is Jimmy Day playing? It looks sorta like a Bigsby, but not..... MAN... he had a sound back then, huh?
And RAY PRICE....One of my heroes!

I love Ray Price when he was still a Cherokee Cowboy, a protoge of Hank Williams Sr, before he went all "cosmopolitan." This period was the pinnacle of Country music.

@jteeeeeton A person could live and die in here!!!

@horsemad1670 Communistic god haters took out real country music? Whoa, that sounds like some genuine paranoia there, calm down. I love these classic country songs and I despise most modern country, but I don't think "commies" had shit to do with what happened to country music. I can tell your mind is stuck in some kind of 1950's commie fear/paranoia.

I still maintain that the reason nobody hears real country in these times is because number 138. Attack on U.S.A., was the 'elbowing' of real country music by the controlling communistic, God-hating control freaks that infest our political world. People from all around the globe loved proper American country music because it spoke eloquently of ALL our lives in an uncomplicated way that is sadly missed now.
