This is the best "how to" open a young coconut. I watched a bunch and Steffy Sue's directions and demo are the best. She also tells you all about the health benefits. I wish she would make more how to videos. Very knowledgeable and great music too!

LoL and most of the time I use a combat knife the K-bar tanto to open it up with a stabbing and jamming motion then afterwards a sawsall to cut it in half XD maybe I sould try this... Looks a lot less dangerous... A lot less

I just cracked one of these open for the first time today, and wow is fresh coconut water much more palatable than bottled! Glad I washed my hands after peeling it, too...
