Medford Opportunity High School students learn about environmental studies and social issues by tending plots in the Ecology Center of the Siskiyous (ECOS) Community Garden on the SOU campus. Check out this video to learn more about how Southern Oregon University is addressing regional needs by providing a space for community members to garden. Food grown in the ECOS garden is donated to Uncle Foods Diner, a program the provides meals for low-income and homeless people. ECOS is a student-run club focused on environmental issues. Thanks to our students, faculty, and community members for the important role they play in this sustainable campus resource!
