For as long as Gilbert has been fighting MMA he should be at least a brown belt in BJJ and have enough takedown defense to give olympic wrestlers a hard time. He's neglected the ground game for so long at a time when there is enough history to show that a pure striker cannot be the best in a sport where cross-training is key.

if gilbert had any sense he would have been working perfusely on his take down defence and ground game training with wrestlers and submission guys then maybe but still not a good one he would have stood a chance... facing a world class champion wrestler and submission guy he works on his mauy tai like come thats not to smart.. 30 some odd seconds into the third gilbert lost via tap out due to punishment!!!
