quick lateral leaps.....plyo is a type of training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, and improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance in sports. plyo movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher or run faster etc.
@horsefeathers87 well im a runner and i do it to help flow in running so that my steps arent as heavy (light and smooth), but plyometrics is used to increase vertical jump, and short twich muscles . anyone else who knows more about it should add onto that . hope it helps

to increase ur lift put small sand bags on each foot........
it worked for me though especially if ur a high jumper . this is good exercise.....
