Hehe. I grea up in Kenya, and on the music of Mbilia Bel,Franco, Tabuley Rochereau etc. This the first time I noticed that this particular song is sung in English. Now I hear it, I can't understand how I missed that.

English find american english non conventionnal and weird (take a trip deep south and you'll see how they speak. What about harlem?). Did u ever heard M Jackson, Elvis sing in another language than english? Let's put it this way: can u imagine these artists singing in Lingala? Make a long story short: we'd be better off singing our natives tongues
