@csm07cb - Because this game isn't a responsive, or well balanced fighter like all SNK fighters pre 99? Maybe thats why.

This game was awsome in that it utilized an entire environment to fight in where you could swing in all directions. This is something you don't see in other arcade game with such fine art and 2D images.

@kaihedgie It's actually a lot older than you'd think (as early as the first Fatal Fury, in fact). Several characters in AOF2 got straight-up dubbed, too! (Indeed it was shitty, but hey.)
