The VHS version of They Live was released by MCA Home Video in 1989, after the theatrical release by Universal Pictures and Carolco International (in some other countries including Canada).

for some reason I have the MCA logo on a 1995 Hitchcock tape.

I saw this logo combo in black and white on a 1984 VHS of "Scarface", except it had "RELEASE" below the MCA byline.
