I did amazingly well last year after my first stem cell treatment, no MS flareups and no MS medications when I returned home. The use of fat derived stem cells used to keep the immune system "turned off" was a new protocol that ended up having excellent results in the long run. Last year, the clinic was not yet saving a patient's own cells, so I needed a second "mini lipo" to extract more of my own cells and save for later use. I was aggressive and came back sooner than later before my MS flared up really bad. Unfortunately, the surgery turned back "on" my immune system and my legs got a little heavy after the second surgery, but nothing compared to last year. The clinic and I agreed that I needed to be aggressive to keep the symptoms away, so I decided to stay another full 4 weeks for the spinal injections again ... same treatment as last year. Good news is that my immune system has turned back "off" and there is no doubt I will be back to riding my beach cruiser 13 miles again soon!
