Just so there's no confusion, this is a photo of a pair of vocal cords vibrating. (They aren't my vocal cords, they are what I no longer have!) You're looking down into the larynx from above. The front of the throat is at the lower portion of the photo.

that is not a microphone it is a artificial larynx! it is a speech aid that helps him speak :)

bob i really feel sorry for u why did u have to get ur vocal cords took out and to u need a microphone up to ur throat to make u speak
