The Cherimoya fruit, also known as Custard Apple, is considered the "treasure of the tropics."

With flavors of pineapple, papaya, and banana, this fruit is certainly one of a kind and worth a try. Just a sniff of its wonderfully custard aromas will have you wanting to cut into it and take a bite.

Learn how to pick out the best, ripe Cherimoya at the store and how to store this fruit once you get home.

Enjoyed simply out of hand of blended into a delicious smoothie, the Cherimoya is one fruit you'll want to taste for yourself.

  • @RVO174 I was curious if u tried these fruits u should if you haven't durian lychee rambutan dragon fruit abiu star fruit yuzu fruit that's it hoping for some feedback:)

  • @zohanassassin Tried Dragon fruit, lychees but not rambutan. None of these have been on the show however. Just not as common to find. Star fruit too but not my favorite. Sounds like you might have gotten chance to try many things. That's great. Thanks for watching.

  • I think the show is great, however I find it very concerning that you did not mention that cherimoya seeds are poisonous. They are used to make insecticides and herbicides.

  • @Spesardjl not mentioned cause you just taught me;) Thanks for the feedback. Glad I spit them out lol. Thanks for watching. Take care.

  • @RVO174 Ill keep cheking invade an episode pops up. I remember in one episode you talked about kiwano melon. Do you have any idea where to find them in Canada? I've looked many places.

  • @doyoulikewaffles360 I wouldn't know where to find them in Canada but here in the U.S. we have several different "speciality" grocery stores which only means that are a little fancier than a normal store but really they are the same. However I have even seen them at Safeway and it looks like you have Safeway in Canada. So wherever you shop, you can always ask the produce manager if he or she can order some. It could be on their order list but they just don't normally order it for their store.

  • I just learned a cherimoya is not the same as a custard apple, close relatives but a different species!

  • I love everyone that uses the word produce :P

  • @RVO174 If I go to the states I'll be sure to look out for Kiwanos. I'm going to Mexico though so it's unlikely. I went through alot of trouble with this special ordering buisness and today I'm calling my store back to see what the maniger had to say. I've only had kiwano one time.

  • @doyoulikewaffles360 Thanks very much for the kind words. I haven't declared the show over so an episode or two might still pop up someday so please stay tuned! Just in case;) Thanks for watching!
