I've been beta-testing the Analogue Solutions Europa step-sequencer. It's so easy to use and is worlds apart from my Genoqs Octopus. The Octopus pretty much does everything in the world. However, the Europa is 100 times easier to program and is also much more fun to use since it is so immediate.

Everything heard in this clip is the modular synthesizer rig. The Moog Voyager is just sitting there looking lovely as usual. I did program some sequences for the Moog into the Europa but I shot this at the very end of my day and didn't start with the Moog. I also had one hand on the camera and just decided to let it roll. This track is Low Pass Gate heaven. Delays are brought to you by my favorite delays (not for Karplus Strong stuff though) in Eurorack format: The Harvestman Tyme Sefari & the Analogue Systems RS-290 with RS295 expander.

I've been using it so much since I got it. I can definitely recommend it. It is worth having as a primary sequencer and is especially cool if you have other CV and/or MIDI sequencers available.
