Song: Halfway Down the Stairs
By: Robin the Frog

Muppets Revisited CD Coming out on 2010!
"Halfway Down the Stairs" song
will be performed by Amy Lee!

Lyrics:

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top.
So this is the stair where I always stop.

Halfway up the stairs isn't up and isn't down.
It isn't in the nursery, it isn't in the town.
And all sorts of funny thoughts run round my head.
It isn't really anywhere, it's somewhere else instead.

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top.
So this is the stair where I always stop.

  • The lyrics are originally from A. A. Milne--best known for the Winne the Pooh stories.

  • I've never really actually 'watched' the muppets just knew who they are.. but when I found out Amy lee was singing this song I automatically got glued :D

  • @BenjiProductionsXL Not anymore, they have a new album out. And I guess the people that have actually grown up like Amy's version better.

  • I like how this was sung @ Jim Henson's funeral to commemorate him. :P

  • memories of my childhood.... gone, but not forgotten..:)

  • Oh Robin, you're so adorable~

  • so cute :D

  • why does robin look so sad? :(

  • If you look at his position at the end, you'll see he's closer to the top than the bottom. =D

  • @MiirtJ Honestly, I didn't watch that much of it myself. I was honestly just talking about the emotions I got by just watching this clip. It may be different for someone who doesn't have English as a first language, though, since I think most of of the emotion comes through his tone and inflections.
