  • @TL3C7Y Interesting fact about Russia :

There is no lamers , end even if some one is lamer , he has a bunch of friends-nerds that can help him with computer problems . So no one throws away any devices , and even if they are broken at all , they'll storage it as bright part of their life in the nearest closet .

Also , from DVD-Roms you only can get 650 nm , maximum with 400 mWatt beam laser diods . Toy for 10-year kids .

  • and when you get to 1W its not a class 1 laser anymore, you are talking class 4 high powered lasers, those dont come cheap

  • @iEugene1994 like the computers people throw away in the garbage because they dont know how to format a computer, thats usually a good place to start for computer parts

  • @TL3C7Y Like where ?

I'm talking about powerful(that can give 1+ W beam) laser diods in 445 nm part of spectree .

And not buying , a stolen one . Getting .

  • @iEugene1994 why buy a stolen one when you can find them for free?

  • @Klimerts Cheapest way - buy somewhere stolen DVD-R drive , get from there laser diod , buy driver and optics module , and woila - 300 mW 650 nm burning laser in your pocket for only 30$(7$ for driver , 10$ for optics , and 13$ for optical drive) .

  • @xTalentHD any 5mw will travel well and is safe. I like the green laser for visibility and get one with a adjustable lens. You can focus even the low power 5mw lasers at about any distance.

  • @MMKK8908 But your teeth are not bad ass lasers. ...

  • @xTalentHD 30mw green so you can see the beam

  • i can do that faster with my teeth.
