Engine assisted paragliding in Thailand is sometimes done by omitting some safety protocols common in the Western world. This makes the activity a lot quicker to set up and also significantly more risky.
Motorgliding is not a regular activity at Khanoms Na Dan beach. It has been done several times as part of the daytime entertainment program of Khanoms Ample Moon Party.
The flying gear is quickly set up and mounted like a bagpack. Start and landing zone are simply marked by flag indicating the wind direction.
