Could be many things that he talks.desire something...like a "state of mind" and everything what ur eyes to is trying to find that place..the sleep is the safest place to let thoughts free...imagine your self coming up from your feet stairing at you... maybe outerbody experience...but this world seems so big that we know nothing about but still searching to find...its such a lonely ride...me trippin, trying to find the answers of my own place in mind and for some reason posting this as a comment

i took it as another look at the expression of "having skeletons in the closet" and hes saying how he cant get away from them and its taking over everything, from the lyric "now its bigger than us. It's bigger than everything it decides to touch" granted i could be wrong but that is my view after listening once

i thought it seemed to be an expression of trying to find something youve lost, and finding something but not "it" so maybe an on ongowing search for something that maybe you ill never find again?
