  • Always the years between us.

    Always the years.

    Always the love.

    Always the hours.

  • One of the best films ever made. One of the few that makes you really think about life. And this movie has possibly the best score for any film ever made.

  • Happy birthday Virginia Woolf,I love The Hours

  • thanks forever!

The Hours is the best film in the world

  • Years from now people will look back at this film and realize it's a manipulative, pretentious bit of clap trap. These days everyone whispers reverently," it's supposed to be about Virginia Woolf, it's high art"! Ed Harris is miscast as a grotesque AIDS patient whom goes looney and throws himself out a window so the audience can feed on the tragedy and Meryl Streep also does an unconvincing gay character while Nicole Kidman french kisses her older Sister for a lesson in incest and weirdness .

  • Possibly the most poetic suicide note ever written. I love the ending of this movie.

  • currently watching this is college literature class after reading mrs. dalloway its a masterpiece QQ

  • @jdollinter

The only valid arguement you have is regarding the voice that Nicole uses, but she has already stated that she didn't want to mimic Virginia's voice, as it would be seen as commical to modern viewers...so you honestly have not arguement. :)

  • this film is a masterpiece! and possibly, better than the novel!

  • @fascinatedbywords one of the most beautifully written films ever :) sad but beautiful.
