laila's lesson on spice

Laila is 5 years old and weighs about 35 lbs. She does walk lessons only and this was her first time riding Spice. She did a GREAT job making him go when he really would have rather hung out in the center of the arena with the adults. Spice is riding in a very loose D ring snaffle (very mild bit) and you can see that even little Laila is able to direct him without issue. He could VERY easily take advantage of her and do exactly what he wants, but he never does and THATS what makes him the most beautiful horse in the world to me. if "pretty is as pretty does", this horse is the most gorgeous thing a parent could ever see. I focused pretty heavily on kids for these videos, but check out the trail riding videos, Im about 5'9" and 190 lbs and he carried me for over three hours without ANY problems or next day soreness. He IS suitable for adults too, hes just gentle enough for even the smallest of kids.
