lots of stuff around now!, and a few new projects!.

I still have to tip the bin of engine bits out and sort through it!

  • @carl27890 some times if the the value is high enough, things like AC units and 3 phase VFD's are the only thing I bother stripping now.

  • That is an RB20DET; it was most likely fitted to an R31 Skyline but it was also used in the 300ZX. The cams are nismo.

  • R409 is a blend of HFC32 and HFC125. It's a direct replacement for R22, being fully compatible (you can even use it to recharge an R22 system which still has some gas in it)

  • that green shit in the coil is a type of dye they put in the ac system to make leak points visible to the naked eye when they service them.

    the price of aluminum engine scrap (ferrous-aluminum) has rocketed to 80c per kg!
