Vaughn isn't the bad guy, Phonely!! Lauren came on the scene after Syd was taken away...she was using him the whole time!! Vaughn thought Sydney was DEAD!!! Lauren is the one who took advantage of Vaughn in his grief, pain & loneliness...She is the bad guy...

God, I hated Vaughn in the third season when he was married to Lauren, and Sidney yelled "You wanna know how I am? I'm horrible! I'm ripped apart! And it's not because I lost you, but because had it been me- I would have waited!" An gosh how I loathed him when he said, "I was so in love with you, it nearly killed me, but I don't regret moving on with my life."
