Two of the main founders (Mercer & Slack) of Capitol records - this early baby is issue #22 overall for the infant label.
The label's first big hit, IIRC, was Ella Mae Morse w/Freddie Slack's orch. doing "Cow Cow Boogie" - record #102 and I let it get broken in a move.....
