I have a 2001 tundra with the 4.7 liter with 140 k on it. I just developed a severe engine vibration and loss of power along with a flashing check engine light. Anyone know what it may be? It feels like it's misfiring

@jesse0576 They were pretty hard to install just because it takes a long time. There is not much room to work. I had to remove the motor mount on the drive side only to get to some of the manifold nuts. My buddy and I did it in the garage in a full day. Look on tundrasolutions as there is alot of info, including a write I did about installing them. They are worth it!

@theconformativeone I have a 03' tundra with 250 000 KM no problems at all. best truck I have ever had. I did have a noisy lifter on a cold start up but I swiched to mobil 1 syn. and never heard it since.
Looks like it does very well for a nearly stock rig.. This 1st gen tundra is what got me into yota's sadly I've never had one but had several Tacoma and solid axle 2nd gens.. Now I drive a 98 f150 on 35s clean truck but I'd take yours anyday man! Cool rig

@NastyBuilt Thanks! Those older F150's look the best IMO, nice trucks. I do love my Tundra, it would be hard to get anything else.

Is your tundra lifted or do you just have bigger tires on it.

@333jellybeanz Both. It has Icon Coilovers in the front at about 3", and a mini pack in the rear 1.5". Running 285/75/16 ~33" Firestone Destination MT's.
