The 637 has always been tandem powered

Actually it is a 637C converted into a 631C, but you are right. It looks as if they converted the 637 into a 631 by yanking out the rear engine and plugging the hole. YOu can still see the rear plantaries where the rear engine once was. We have done that to a couple machines making them into waterpulls.
